AFRIK PLANET CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Effective Date: August 22, 2026 Last Updated: August 22, 2026
Afrik Planet, operated by Egrum LLC (“Afrik Planet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Protecting children is a fundamental responsibility, and these Standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE across our services, including our website at afrikplanet.com and our mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”).
Afrik Planet is intended for adults aged 18 and over. The presence, solicitation, or exploitation of minors, and any content that sexualizes minors, is strictly prohibited regardless of a user’s stated age.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to:
- Prohibiting CSAE and CSAM anywhere on the Services.
- Preventing our Services from being used to create, store, share, promote, or facilitate CSAE.
- Detecting and removing violating content and accounts quickly.
- Reporting CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperating with law enforcement.
- Continuously improving our safeguards.
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate removal and account termination:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including real, animated, or computer-generated imagery.
- Sexualization of minors, including sexual commentary about or directed at minors.
- Grooming, solicitation, or enticement of a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any facilitation of the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Sharing links, contact information, or instructions intended to facilitate CSAE.
3. Prevention and Detection
To keep the Services safe, we use a combination of technology and human review:
- Automated media scanning. Uploaded images and videos are scanned for nudity and sexual content before and after they are posted.
- Known-content matching. Media is checked against hashes of known illegal content, which is blocked and cannot be shared or relaxed by any setting.
- Human moderation. Trained reviewers assess reported content and take enforcement action.
- Account enforcement. Accounts that violate these Standards are suspended or permanently banned, and associated content is removed.
4. In-App Reporting
Every user can report content, accounts, and messages directly within the app:
- Use the Report option available on posts, profiles, comments, stories, and messages.
- Reports involving potential child safety concerns are prioritized for review.
- Users can also block other users at any time.
Anyone may additionally contact us at the address below to report a child safety concern.
5. Our Response
When we identify CSAE or CSAM, we:
- Remove the content promptly.
- Suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account(s).
- Preserve relevant information as required by law.
- Report CSAM to NCMEC and cooperate with law enforcement and relevant national and regional authorities.
6. Legal Compliance
Afrik Planet complies with all applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including obligations to report CSAM to the relevant authorities. We review these Standards regularly and update them as our Services and legal obligations evolve.
