About us
About Afrik Planet.
Afrik Planet was born from a simple belief: Africa’s culture belongs to the world, and the world deserves a place to share in it. A digital home rooted in African culture, and open to everyone.
Afrik Planet is a social network for Africa, its diaspora, and everyone who wants to connect. You don’t have to be African or have any ties to Africa to belong here. From Lagos to London, Johannesburg to Atlanta, Casablanca to Paris and beyond, Afrik Planet is where roots meet the world.
This is a place to build real community. Join communities that speak to you or launch your own, go live and share the moment as it happens, and stay close to the people who matter with voice and video calls, no matter how far apart you are. Whether you’re celebrating your culture, discovering opportunities, or simply connecting with people who feel like home, this is your space.
We didn’t set out to copy what already exists. We set out to build something that reflects our energy, our diversity, and our pride, while welcoming every color, every country, and every story. A platform where everyone belongs.
This is more than an app. It’s a movement to bring people together, wherever in the world they may be. Afrik Planet is just getting started, and this is only the beginning.
